Sarah Ndibalekera

Sarah Ndibalekera is an accomplished administrator with a 14-year experience in health service management working at various healthcare facilities and regional referral hospitals, including Mbale and Jinja RRHs, where she led and coordinated the management of hospital resources, activities, and contracts. She championed the team that oversaw the construction and functionalisation of the Kawempe National Referral and Mulago Specialised Women and Neonatal Hospitals; this revitalised care in reproductive and Neonatal Health in Uganda.

Previously, Sarah was an Educationist in various Secondary Schools for a period of 12 years majoring in English Language and Literature in English. In addition, she was a strong advocate and lobbyist for life skill acquisition among adolescent girls supported by Forum for African Women Educationists (FAWE-Uganda).

Presently, Sarah holds the position of Senior Hospital Administrator at Mulago National Referral Hospital, where she is responsible for the overall operations and strategic planning, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and the efficient utilization of resources. She is directly charged with managing Private Patient Services where high quality and innovativeness are exhibited at all times. In her operations, Sarah has been able to develop and excellently execute a business plan and lobby for extension of IHMS which have led to improved efficiency in collection of revenue. Her vast expertise in healthcare administration underpins her commitment to enhancing healthcare services and patient outcomes at Mulago NRH.

Sarah is an alumnus of Uganda Martyrs University, Nkozi, Uganda Management Institute, Law Development Centre where she acquired various qualifications in management and administration.
